The purpose of this memorial scholarship is to provide one $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Jamestown High School.
Prior to 2021, multiple scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors in Mercer and Crawford county.
This scholarship is in honor of Staff Sergeant David Michael Veverka, who was killed in Iraq on May 6, 2006.
